Location: Food Services Administration Department: Farm to School – Nutrition Services Area:North Contract Months:HRLY Hourly Rate: $$15.00 ## JOB SUMMARY The Agriculture Systems Summer Day Camp Counselor supports the supervision, instruction, and engagement of middle school students participating in a six-week agriculture and food systems summer camp. Counselors assist with daily activities, field experiences, service learning, and hands-on projects designed to expose students to food, agriculture, sustainability, and career pathways. Counselors work under the direction of Food & Agriculture Literacy staff and Lead Counselors to ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. ## MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES List most important duties first 1\. Supervise and support students during daily camp activities and transitions. 2\. Assist with the implementation of agriculture, food systems, and sustainability learning activities. 3\. Support student participation in seed-to-plate projects and indoor growing activities. 4\. Assist with STEM challenges, cooking competitions, and team-based learning activities. 5\. Support field trips, service-learning projects, and guest speaker sessions. 6\. Supervise students during farm visits and service projects at Mykawa Farm. 7\. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students. 8\. Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and respectful behavior among campers. 9\.
