BeSpoke Vision needs an Experienced Optician who will help contribute to the best patient service experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a team of compassionate and engaging professionals to provide exceptional care and a top tier experience to our patients! In this role, you will assist patients with choosing multiple sets of eyewear that suit their style, hobbies, preferences and prescription; fill, order, dispense and adjust glasses and sunglasses; make accurate notes in our EHR; communicate with patients via phone and text; process financial transactions; greet and serve walk-in customers and more. This is a full-time position offering the stability of a career in healthcare and NO WEEKENDS ! Pay range: $21 – $25 hourly. Prior eyecare or opticianry experience will be prioritized, but not absolutely required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! Requirements: Great work ethic. Excellent written and verbal communication. High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years successful high end or medical customer service or retail experience. The supreme ability to inspire confidence in patients and peers. High degree of professionalism. Ability to confidently work autonomously, knowing when to ask questions. Positive outlook. Strong desire to help people. Proficient with computers and technology. A sense of urgency without sacrificing thoroughness. The ability to confidently approach patients and guide financial discussions.
