Description Phoenix Systems is growing and we are looking for an experienced Audio/Video installation technician with Control4 certification(s) to join our amazing team. We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, personable and of good character. You should be passionate about custom electronics and installation and all about providing world class service to our high-end clients. Starting salary is between $27.00 and $36.00/hour depending on experience and certifications. Anticipated start date for this position is August 17, 2026. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform service, installation, and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, remote controls, shades and screens, advanced lighting controls, and systems requiring Control4 automation and programming Communicate with the customer to review the work orders, answer customer questions professionally and properly Instruct and train the customer/end user on the system functions and operation. Have in depth knowledge of security systems operation, functions, and wiring requirements Completely understand security systems Phoenix Systems installs and services (NX, SimonXTi, 2Gig, DSC, Qolsys, Etc.) Handle after hours emergency service calls (as assigned on a rotation basis) Create and edit Control4 IR Drivers Ability to install and program shades and screens Have tools and experience needed to terminate multimode fiber ends Knowledge to calibrate advanced projectors and receivers for optimal video and sound Ability to think on your own and resolve technical issues without Must also be able to work and perform duties of Trim Tech II/III and A/V Security Technician II Perform other duties as assigned.
