Electrician Apprentice Department: 206/Utilities Maintenance Exempt: No Reports To: Master Electrician Pay Grade/Wage: $19.45/hr Position Type: Full-Time Hours: 40 hrs/week Job Summary: This position performs a variety of skilled and semiskilled manual tasks at the Apprentice level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, instrumentation and control equipment. Work is performed under the general direction of the Master Electrician, or the Journeyman electrician. Duties may involve the use of trade tools and the operation of light construction equipment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Master Electrician. Job Description: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Works with the Journeyman Electrician to install electric wiring, devices, and perform preventive maintenance . Performs routine inspections on operating equipment. Responds to after hour emergencies as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
