Position Overview: The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of journey-level electrical work such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the utilization and distribution of electric energy. Key Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Installs, replaces and repairs lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels. Tests continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of systems, following installation, replacement, or repair. Troubleshoots and isolates faults in electrical and electronic systems and removes and replaces faulty components. Connects electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signaling devices and heating and cooling systems. Splices, joins and connects wire
