The Coffee Shop Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, teas, and other beverages, greeting each guest, and ensuring that guests are 100% satisfied. Potential Career Paths: F&B Supervisor – F&B Manager – Director of Food and Beverage-Director of Operations – General Manager – VP of Food & Beverage Key Duties & Responsibilities: Providing personalized service to all guests. Understands and abides by all safety protocols. Willingly embrace last-minute changes in direction and unexpected changes in operational plan. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains positive guest relations at all times. Prepare food and beverages such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices. Ability to utilize equipment used for drink and food making as necessary. Maintains knowledge of standard recipes (latte, cappuccino, macchiato, specialty drinks). Utilizing POS according to standards as necessary. Set out and arrange cold food such as rolls, muffins, and cereal for purchase. Set up and maintain the coffee shop service area and keep it clean and well presented. Maintains safety and sanitation requirements and storage procedures. Complete daily inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day. Order and/or purchase all necessary supplies. Ensure that all equipment is in working order and clean; rectify any deficiencies and report maintenance problems to the manager.
