West Loop dental practice is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to provide outstanding patient care! Schedule: As a full-time employee, we would ask that you are comfortable working Monday-Friday, 5 shifts per week ( including 3 morning and 2 evening shifts ). Visit us on our popular TikTok or Instagram page(s) to better understand who we are and our mission! Responsibilities : Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties. Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of a variety of procedures. Provide a 10-star Patient experience. Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures. Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, ortho, pediatric, endo, periodontics, prosthodontics and OS. Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry). Make patients as comfortable as possible in the chair while preparing them for treatment. Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment. Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education. Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos. Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment.
