Experienced Crown and Bridge Technician Johns Dental Laboratories is seeking a full-time Crown & Bridge Technician. Our ideal candidate has: the ability to complete all departmental production tasks from start to finish (impression to delivery) experience with designing single to multiple unit crowns, bridges, and implant cases experience designing and scanning with 3Shape software for implants, crowns, and bridges. proficiency in the fabrication and customization of lifelike ceramic dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations experience with PFM, Full Cast, Emax Implants, and MiYO Esthetics System. experience with contouring and finishing zirconia crowns  proficiency in mimicking the shade of the patient’s natural teeth by means of contouring, porcelain layering, shading, staining, glazing, and polishing techniques the ability to perform tasks such as pouring impressions, trimming models, trimming dies, and articulation ensure that restorations meet functional and aesthetic standards by performing quality control inspections prior to delivery Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and esthetics Strong artistic, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity skills Ability to interpret dentist instructions, case notes, and digital scans Ability to discuss cases with doctors over the phone and by email Ability to train department staff Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to maximize production and time to organize daily workload to meet deadlines Ability to perform routine arithmetic calculations Must be able to read cali
