LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist Float to join our team in San Jose, CA Work Schedule: Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years of experience as phlebotomist Current or prior experience with Labcorp Additional Job Standards: In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. 6 months or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients Pass a standardized color blindness test Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
