Overview Occupational Therapist – Acute Care in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date: 06/01/2026 for a 26-week travel assignment in a hospital setting with a weekly pay of $2,128–$2,234 per week and no guaranteed hours. Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm. This role covers rehab and acute rehab services, evaluating and treating patients in inpatient or outpatient settings as part of a hospital-based therapy team. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,128–$2,234 per week – Contract duration: 26 weeks – Shift: Day shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30 am–4:00 pm – Start date: 06/01/2026 – Setting: Rehab and acute rehab in a hospital environment – Onboarding: arrival the Thursday before start for employee health clearance Responsibilities – Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in inpatient or outpatient rehab as directed – Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic OT programs as prescribed by the ordering physician – Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs; discharge planning as appropriate – Independently manage a full caseload; determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization – Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR systems Net Health Therapy and Meditech – Collaborate with rehabilitation team and hospital staff to support patient goals and safe transitions Requirements – Hawaii licensed Occupational Therapist (active) by start of assignment – BLS certification from the American Red Cross – Minimum 2 years’ work experience with adults in both outpatient and acute care settings – Proficiency with EMR systems Net Health Therapy and Meditech – Ability to work Day shift Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm – Eligibility to work in Hawaii on-state and federal holidays as required – Onboarding availability: must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appoi
