Overview MRI Technologist – Radiology in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date June 21, 2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in the imaging department of a healthcare imaging program. Weekly pay ranges from $2,445 to $2,569 per week. Shift: 3×12-hour days. Working in a medical imaging setting with MRI procedures across available scanner platforms. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,445 – $2,569 per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 12-hour day shifts, Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon – Start date: June 21, 2026 – Work setting: imaging services within a healthcare imaging program – Orientation: 2-day orientation in the first week – Support: dedicated assignment support and bi-weekly pay Responsibilities – Perform MRI exams using Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5 T Sola, integrating with Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS. – Screen patients for contraindications (implant devices, safety risks) and obtain any required clinical information prior to scanning. – Position patients and coils, select appropriate sequences, and adjust parameters to optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort and safety. – Maintain strict adherence to imaging protocols, verify orders, communicate findings with radiologists, and document procedures in the patient record. – Ensure equipment readiness, perform routine quality control, report malfunctions, and assist with basic maintenance as needed. – Floats to other imaging locations within the network as required to support workflow and coverage.
