Shift: 5×8 Days, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a travel temporary assignment in a corrections setting, with responsibilities and scheduling aligned to standard facility policies and security requirements. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $1,791–$1,903 per week – Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 5 days per week, days – Start date: 05/18/2026 – Setting: corrections environment with integrated health services Responsibilities – Deliver direct patient care to individuals within a corrections setting, following nursing standards, facility policies, and security procedures – Perform initial assessments, monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and document findings promptly in the medical record – Administer prescribed medications and treatments, manage wound care, and oversee intravenous therapies in accordance with orders and protocols – Respond to medical emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and coordinate with the on-site medical team and security staff for safe patient management – Conduct routine rounds, document care plans, update nursing notes, and ensure accurate medication reconciliation and infection control compliance – Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, case managers, and other interdisciplinary staff to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure continuity of care Requirements – Availability to work 40 hours per week for a 13-week contract – Ability to work effectively in a corrections setting and to follow security, safety, and confidentiality policies – Strong communication and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and compliance
