Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Utica, NY, United States. Travel assignment starting 06/01/2026 for weeks with guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Weekly pay range: $2,149–$2,348. Shift: 12-hour day shifts (8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.) on a block schedule; block scheduling is never guaranteed. Setting: hospital-based emergency department. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,149–$2,348 per week – Guaranteed hours: 36 per week – Start date: 06/01/2026 – Duration: Weeks – Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.; block scheduling not guaranteed – Location: Utica, NY Responsibilities – Provide direct patient care in the ED across age groups with rapid assessment, triage, monitoring, and documentation – Administer medications and IV therapies; support resuscitation efforts; manage care for diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and respiratory failure – Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff; assist with procedures and equipment use; ensure patient safety and comfort – Document all care in the EPIC EMR; maintain accurate records and effective handoffs to receiving teams – Monitor vital signs, interpret rhythms, and respond to emergencies; assist with patient disposition and discharge planning – Float as needed within the ED to support patient flow and maintain care standards; maintain required certifications and competency Requirements – Active New York RN license (NURSYS verification) – 2 years ED experience with pediatric exposure; travel experience required – Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; NIHSS; TNCC must be in hand – EPIC EMR experience – RTO (time off) must be included at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics – Local candidates within 75 miles may be offered a local rate Be
