Overview Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii, US. Start date: 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,013–$2,136 per week. Shift: Flex; 8-hour shifts that are varied and include weekends and holidays. Setting: a hospital campus with an on-site long-term care unit. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,013–$2,136 per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 8-hour shifts, varied, including weekends and holidays – Start date: 06/08/2026 – Location: Hilo, HI – Travel assignment type: temporary Responsibilities – Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans for LTC residents within a hospital-campus setting. – Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor responses and escalate concerns to the physician/NP. – Manage admissions and discharges; communicate pertinent information to the care team. – Provide activities of daily living (ADL) support and assist with patient mobility and comfort. – Deliver specialized care as assigned, including gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized therapy, wound VAC care, CPAP care, and tracheostomy care. – Document care accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Requirements – Active Hawaii registered nurse license; Hawaii license must be active by start date. – If not currently licensed in Hawaii, must apply upon acceptance of offer and obtain licensure by start. – Ability to work in a hospital-campus-based long-term care unit; capable of managing complex care needs. – Availability for varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays; flexibility is required. – Must arrive the Thursday prior to start to complete employee health screening.
