Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Watertown, NY. This travel assignment starts 06/01/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay is $2,260–$2,477, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is the night 12-hour schedule (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 2×3 rotation. Work will occur in an acute care-inspired Med/Surg setting with potential PCU coverage. The RN should be comfortable floating to Med/Surg and PCU as needed. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,260–$2,477 (per week) – Guaranteed hours: 36 per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, 2×3 schedule – Start date: 06/01/2026 – Setting: Med/Surg and PCU coverage in an acute care-influenced unit Responsibilities – Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in Med/Surg and PCU units, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation – Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; respond to changes in patient condition – Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans – Float to Med/Surg and PCU as needed; apply safe patient-handling techniques and utilize lifts as required – Respond to emergencies, participate in rounds, and assist with admissions, discharges, and procedures – May assume charge nurse duties as assigned and uphold patient safety, quality, and regulatory standards Requirements – Current New York RN license – BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire) – Coronary Care experience required – Minimum 1 completed traveler assignment; first-time travelers will not be considered – Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing – Ability to float to Med/Surg and PCU; previous hospital RN experience preferred Benefits and Support – Guaranteed hours: 36 per week – Weekly pay: $2,260–$2,477
