Overview Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas. Start date: 06/07/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,053 to $2,182 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3×12-hour nights (1900-0730). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with PCU patients. This is a travel – temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,053–$2,182 per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 3×12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) – Start date: 06/07/2026 – Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, PCU – Location: Olathe, Kansas Responsibilities – Provide direct, bedside nursing care for PCU patients, including monitoring, assessment, medication administration, and ongoing documentation – Manage critical care–level interventions and devices as needed, including experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing own labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines; comfortable conducting codes and responding to emergencies – Support post-operative cardiac patients, including those with pacer wires, and collaborate with the care team to optimize recovery – Perform bedside procedures, coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and comfort – Float to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, ED) with prior experience as required – Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR and adhere to unit policies, including weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis – Participate in unit-based staffing and handoffs, ensuring continuity of care across shifts Requirements – Active KS RN license or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS, and NIHF certifications – Minimum 2 years of recent CCU/ICU experience; open heart day 1 experience with pacer wires preferred – Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines; co
