Overview Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Philadelphia, PA, United States. This travel assignment starts 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,093 to $2,230 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3×12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Work setting: hospital-based respiratory care team. Key Highlights – Weekly pay: $2,093–$2,230 per week – Guaranteed hours: 36 per week – Contract duration: 13 weeks – Shift: 3×12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), including every other weekend – Start date: 06/01/2026 – Setting: Hospital travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA Responsibilities – Provide and manage respiratory care interventions per physician orders, including administration of therapies, ventilator support, bronchodilators, and adjunct therapies. – Monitor patient responses, adjust treatments based on clinical status and arterial blood gas results, and document outcomes. – Manage ventilator patients: assessment, weaning, extubation when appropriate, and airway clearance strategies. – Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume trauma environment to optimize respiratory care and patient outcomes. – Ensure equipment readiness and safety: perform routine checks, troubleshoot devices, and maintain patient safety standards. – Document care in the electronic medical record and communicate changes to the care team; respond to respiratory emergencies as needed.
