Position Overview Sacred Heart Parish School is seeking a dynamic and engaging part-time Spanish Teacher for grades 5–8. The ideal candidate will foster a love for language learning while developing students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Instruction should be interactive, culturally rich, and aligned with age-appropriate standards, while supporting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Teaching Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with grade-level standards Develop students’ proficiency in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversation Incorporate cultural awareness and real-world connections into lessons Use a variety of instructional strategies, including interactive activities and technology Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Assess student progress and provide timely feedback Maintain a structured, respectful, and supportive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with colleagues Participate in staff meetings and school events as appropriate Support and uphold the mission and values of the school Requirements Religious Qualifications Active, practicing Roman Catholic Respects and understands a Catholic school philosophy Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degr
