Position Overview Sacred Heart Parish School is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging part-time 8th Grade Math Teacher to support students in mastering key mathematical concepts in preparation for high school. The ideal candidate will deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and student confidence in mathematics. This role includes creating a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth Teaching Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with grade-level standards and school curriculum Teach core math concepts including pre-algebra, algebraic thinking, and problem-solving strategies Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students Use a variety of instructional strategies, assessments, and technology to enhance learning Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents/guardians Create a structured, supportive, and respectful classroom environment Collaborate with middle school team members and administration to support student success Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as appropriate Uphold the mission and values of Sacred Heart Parish School Requirements Religious Qualifications
