Location: On-site at partner schools (varies by assignment)Schedule: Typically 1 hour per week after school for ~10 weeksAdditional Opportunities: Some instructors run 2–4 hours per week or multiple assignmentsStart Dates: Rolling openings throughout the school yearCompensation: $50+ per instructional hour (flexible based on experience)About the RoleConcorde Education is seeking an engaging Digital Animation Instructor to lead a short-format after-school enrichment class. Students will explore the basics of animation and learn how movement, timing, and visual storytelling bring characters and scenes to life.Classes focus on hands-on creative projects using school-approved tools (often Chromebooks and browser-based animation software).This is a once-per-week enrichment class, typically running for about 10 weeks, with flexible pacing based on student needs.Example TopicsStudents may explore topics such as:Animation basics (frames, timing, loops, fps)Storyboarding and visual storytellingCharacter and background designFrame-by-frame animation or simple motion graphicsStop-motion and GIF animationTiming sound or music with motionExporting animations for sharing or presentationConstructive peer feedback and creative revisionTools may include Wick Editor or similar web-based animation platforms.ResponsibilitiesLead engaging project-based animation sessionsDemonstrate animation concepts in an accessible way for beginnersSupport students as they design and create short animationsAdapt activities based on student age and available technologyFoster a creative and respectful classroom environmentCommunicate with school staff and Concorde program coordinatorsGuide students toward completing a final animation projectQualificationsMinimum 60 college creditsExperience with animation, digital media, or motion graphicsExperience working with school-age students (school, camp, tutoring, etc.)Strong communication and classroom facilitation skillsReliable, punctual, and professional…
