Description Healthy Kids Programs is looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. LOCATION: Healthy Kids Programs Early Learning Center in Waterloo, NY PAY: $16.00 per hour HOURS: Hours vary between 6:30 am – 6:30 pm JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt Featured Benefit: Employer-Paid Childcare Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children. Maintaining regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App, ensuring transparency and engagement in their child’s daily experiences. Cultivating positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported. Supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols. Requirements MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
