Our Approach to Mild/Moderate Special Education At Rocky Mountain Prep, we believe inclusive education is foundational to equity and academic excellence. Our Mild/Moderate Special Education services ensure scholars with disabilities receive a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), with access to rigorous, grade-level instruction alongside their peers. Through a blend of push-in co-teaching and targeted small-group pull-out instruction, teachers deliver individualized, data-driven supports aligned to each scholar’s IEP. Our approach emphasizes academic interventions, functional and adaptive skill development, and consistent progress monitoring.
