Grammar School STEM Teacher Job Summary CGPS seeks a dynamic and creative Grammar School STEM Teacher to foster a love of learning and innovation in our K-5 students. As a member of the STEM Department and the Grammar School Faculty, the teacher is responsible for teaching a combination of science and MakerTech classes. The ideal candidate is skilled at facilitating hands-on, inquiry-based learning that empowers students to act as young scientists, engineers, and makers. Using both teacher-created and Project Lead the Way units, the candidate will plan and teach intellectually engaging lessons that integrate science, technology, and engineering design across the curriculum. Educators must be certified by Project Lead the Way to teach the elementary units; CGPS will pay all associated costs for the required training. Key Areas of Responsibility Scientific Practices: Guide students in asking questions, developing models, planning investigations, analyzing data, and crafting evidence-based explanations. Technology and Design Practices: Guide students in developing creative problem-solving skills through hands-on projects in fabrication, media production, programming, and robotics.
