{“description”: “Serves as an instructor for New Equipment Training (NET) Programs for Materiel Fielding and Training (MF&T) and the TACOM LCMC. Provides the initial transfer of knowledge on various new or displaced equipment to members of the United States Armed Forces. Essential Job Functions : Deliver operator and maintainer training on a system or series of systems. Trains in classroom or motor pool environments using digital training products and hands on training as needed Operate independently as an instructor who may be the only subject matter expert delivering training at a given time. Performs with oversight from senior instructors, team lead and supervisor for input to performance and methods. Assists or train junior instructors on assigned systems. Provides overall maintenance of their assigned courses and determines the need for and initiate changes/updates in course content. Responsible for training management such as setting up a classroom or training area, coordinating tools that are needed, track student attendance and participation and track student records. Responsible for maintaining system expertise and research changes in technical manuals, procedures, regulations, modifications or any changes that will impact on training materials or methods. Assists in training development as a subject matter expert making recommendations on training methods, aids, hands-on exercises, classroom instructions and test/evaluation of students. Provides input to or assists in developing training products with oversight from senior instructor, team lead or supervisor. Coordinates as needed with external personnel on training related matters.
