Requirements What You’ll Do As an Early Childhood Educator at Encompass, you will: · Create nurturing, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development · Implement the HighScope Curriculum through active learning, observation, and assessment · Use Conscious Discipline strategies to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive classrooms · Build strong partnerships with children and families · Maintain developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environments · Collaborate with Center Directors, fellow educators, and advocates · Participate in ongoing professional growth What We’re Looking For Assistant Teachers · High school diploma required · Two non-credit early childhood courses completed preferred · Interest in early childhood education and a desire to continue learning and growing in the field Lead Teachers · Associate degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field · Bachelor’s degrees in unrelated fields are welcome to apply · Classroom experience and understanding of developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practice preferred We actively support continuing education, credential advancement, an
