Overview Cummings Electrical is hiring a Designated Safety Representative for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Integrated Manufacturing is seeking a Designated Safety Representative (DSR) who is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and inspecting the health and safety activities of the work being performed on assigned projects and/or the overall facility to ensure compliance. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. Responsibilities Learn and understand the health and safety policies and procedures established by Cummings Integrated Manufacturing. Advise all floor employees, and subcontractors regarding safe work practices needed to comply with company safety procedures, project requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations. Routinely inspect the work areas & overall facility for safety violations and stop any unsafe work practices/conditions. Report all safety concerns, incidents, and near-misses to the Safety Manager within 24 hours of occurrence. The DSR shall monitor and ensure that the operations for these activities are safe and in compliance with the applicable procedures and regulations Production installation / operations Electrical components & assemblies Cutting / Welding Material Handling, staging &
