National Grid is hiring a Lead Electrical Designer. This role is located in our Hicksville, NY location. Job Purpose We are seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to support power generation and related facilities by developing high-quality electrical power and control designs for modifications and upgrades to existing assets. This role interfaces closely with engineering, plant operations, maintenance, and construction teams to ensure designs are safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with National Grid Asset Management requirements. Key Accountabilities Develop electrical power and control system design drawings and supporting calculations for power generation, substations, transmission, and gas facilities.
