Job Description NielsenIQ’s North America Data Science team empowers clients to make bold decisions using trusted data, measurement science, and advanced analytics. As a Summer Intern, you’ll work alongside data scientists and cross‑functional partners to support real client and product initiatives—helping turn complex, multi‑sourced data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll build hands‑on skills in data preparation, exploratory analysis, statistical thinking, and automation while learning how analytics products are developed and delivered at scale. What You’ll Do Support defined analytical workstreams by cleaning, joining, and validating multi‑sourced datasets. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, outliers, and data quality issues; summarize findings for stakeholders. Build and automate repeatable analysis pipelines or reporting outputs using Python and/or SQL. Apply basic statistical techniques to measure performance, compare segments, or evaluate changes over time.
