General Overview: Works under, and takes direction from District Maintenance Manager or his designee to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on all electronic systems related to the fracturing process. The electronics technician works in both field and shop settings, in accordance with all company standard operating procedures and EH&S guidelines. Responsibilities: Understand and perform all duties according to company standard operating procedures and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines and EH&S guidelines. Repair and maintain company equipment including: Electrical and electronic systems Recording and control software Field computers and network equipment Communicate progress of repairs and maintenance to colleagues, service writer and maintenance manager as needed Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines Identify problem areas Assist in making remedial action plans Assist in scheduling and costing repairs Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment problems Assist in maintaining electrical and electronic pa
