Project Coordinator – Project Management Location: 14 S. Ft. Harrison Ave., Clearwater, FL 33756 Schedule: Hybrid schedule up to two (2) days The Transportation Engineering Section of the Capital Improvements Division, Pinellas County Public Works Department is seeking a motivated, experienced and collaborative project manager to manage Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and delivering transportation CIP projects under Pinellas County’s Capital Improvement Program, in accordance with approved schedules and budgets. The incumbent will manage the delivery of 6 to 10 projects at any given time. The position is independent, and the incumbent will handle a medium volume of work. The Capital Improvement Program is stably funded through a 1% local sales tax ( Penny for Pinellas ) and affords an exciting opportunity to develop a diverse and interesting portfolio of projects in the most densely populated county in Florida. Key responsibilities for this role include: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules. Administer contracts and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders. Review engineering plans, reports, studies, and bid packages. Address design-related issues during construction. What Would You Would Do?
