The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be a foundational hire in our privately funded startup. This is not just a coding role; it is a position of technical leadership. You will own the product lifecycle—from architectural decisions to deployment and sustainment. You are the right fit if you have a product-centric mindset, thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment, and are eager to leverage cutting-edge tools (including AI agents) to deliver high-quality software efficiently. Tasks What You Will Do End-to-End Ownership: Work across the full stack (NestJS/React) to develop new features, maintain the existing codebase, and ensure high availability. Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage AWS services, IAM (Cognito), improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and oversee IaC provisioning using CloudFormation/CDK. Technical Strategy: Research solutions, create PoCs, and keep our technology currency and security posture up to date. Support & Stability: Provide L3/L4 technical support and promptly address production issues to maintain service quality. Collaboration: Communicate frequently with business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality deliverables. Requirements The Tech Stack Frontend: React, TypeScript, SCSS (Modern JavaScript proficiency required). Backend: NodeJS, NestJS, Python (Strong Plus). Data: PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB
