Kleinfelder is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to oversee, manage traffic engineering design projects from studies through final construction plans. The Senior Traffic Engineer will manage a team that completes conceptual design development, develop solutions to engineering problems and provide project management for medium to large scale engineering and planning projects. Job Responsibilities: Manage Traffic Analysis, Traffic Design and Traffic Safety Sections Assist Senior Program Manager with Business Development and Marketing for Traffic Engineering Service Line Manage traffic engineering tasks through application of relevant design criteria, standards and processes in order to develop traffic control device recommendations Manage traffic data collection, and a wide range of traffic engineering studies including but not limited to traffic impact studies and traffic operational analyses Develop project budgets, prepare technical proposals and overall management of projects Review designs performed by others for the purpose of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Apply the principles in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) as well as interpret and apply applicable federal, state and/or local standards and process
