We’re searching for a Software Engineer to join our Behavior Planning Team! In this role, you will Develop real-time algorithms for selecting safe and comfortable trajectories for a self-driving vehicle Design and implement production-grade software for the Aurora Driver Analyze large-scale real-world data to train and evaluate machine learning models and improve data pipelines supporting algorithm development. Design metric suites and testing workflows for rapid iteration on algorithms Required Qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related field 4 years of applied industry experience programming and designing software in C , especially in low latency or real-time environments Experience in designing, building, and productionizing motion planning algorithms (cost function design, optimization and sampling-based techniques) or state estimation algorithms Desirable Qualifications
