Job Description The role of the specialty graphite operator is to perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, transporting materials, loading/unloading of materials using various production equipment, cleaning, cutting, and/or boxing of carbon/graphite media products. Assist with and become cross-trained on tasks assigned to higher-level Specialty Graphite Operators, with the goal of progressing to a higher-level Specialty Graphite Operator. This role is working a rotating, 12- hour shift. 7am – 7pm, and 7pm – 7am Shift differential is offered at 7% What you’ll be doing: Safely and efficiently use hoist, slings, cranes, and forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. Efficiently and effectively perform routine tasks such as cleaning, cutting, boxing/crating stock, and loading/unloading of materials using various production equipment. Operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, saws/cutting equipment, hand and battery-operated tools, material crushing equipment, hydraulic press and pneumatic press, customer supplied/owned equipment, floor sweeper and floor scrubber, and part cleaning machines.
