Situated within our Aerospace and Defense Technologies (ADTECH) division—an engineering center of excellence, this role is critical in supporting our mission to overcome some of our customers' toughest challenges. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of complex power and control systems for unique underwater robotic and electromechanical systems, primarily serving U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense clients. This position is not remote and requires hands-on participation in both the design and execution phases of the project lifecycle. Duties and Responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical and control systems as part of large-scale projects. Supervise, mentor, and lead teams of electrical engineers to achieve project goals. Translate high-level project requirements into detailed designs autonomously, with minimal supervision. Demonstrate creativity and technical excellence in every stage of problem-solving and system construction. Actively participate in regular design review meetings to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Collaborate effectively with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to design and realize integrated, functional systems. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians where necessary. Maintain responsibility and accountability for personal and team results, operating with substantial autonomy.
