AV/VTC Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a AV/VTC Technician  to join our team!   Three or more years of experience working as an AV VTC Technician.   Primary Skills include: Candidates are expected to have experience with videoconference and conference room upgrades, knowledge of Extron and Crestron infrastructure and control products, Bi-amp audio devices, Tandberg codecs, projection system and other audio/video equipment knowledge. Installing complex AV systems. Technicians must complete technical installation of AV systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio and video equipment, and implementation of Crestron Digital Media and control systems. Also, trouble-shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems as required. Install, configure, integrate and test videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies (videoconferencing, multimedia, displays, video projection systems, audio reinforcement systems, cameras, microphones, document cameras, streaming technologies, etc.) and A/V based collaboration technologies. Integrate and configure A/V systems with Crestron control systems. Install and configure Crestron Digital Media products. Additional Responsibilities Assist in Developing and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated A/V systems. Assist in design, integration, testing and troubleshooting of various network and telecommunications systems including IP and ISDN networks. Assist in customer site surveys, including collecting and recording existing detailed operational, functional and technical requirements, developing project scopes.
