Job Description

Tasks Load, unload, and secure items to prevent damage during transport. Verify delivery information, including addresses and customer signatures. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation. Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and other required documentation. Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers regarding delivery status. Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic delivery issues professionally. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delays promptly. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry packages (often up to 50 lbs./23 kg). Strong time-management and organizational skills. Basic navigation and route-planning abilities. Good communication and customer service skills.
