Job Description
Do you have professional experience with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs)? Do you thrive in a consultative role, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to C‑suite teams across a range of industries? Our nationally-recognized ESOP investment banking practice is seeking an experienced professional to join our Client Service team. In this role, you will serve as a primary, post-transaction point of contact for our clients. You will maintain frequent communication with employee-owned companies nationwide as they launch and grow their ESOPs. The ideal candidate should already understand the core elements of ESOPs and possesss a demonstrated track record of anticipating opportunities, triaging issues, and aligning internal and external resources to meet client needs. Business consulting, accounting, and/or ESOP management experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients following an ESOP formation. Monitor plan implementation and ongoing management, providing guidance on best practices and connecting clients with appropriate internal and external resources. Anticipate and resolve issues efficiently. Collaborate closely with transaction teams and other internal resources to deliver an exceptional client experience. Proactively identify opportunities where CSG can provide additional support. Tasks: Maintain consistent communication with a portfolio of clients while tracking key ESOP lifecycle events. Provide foundational guidance to employee-owned company management and accounting teams related to ESOP communications, financial and compliance activities, and governance. Develop formal client resources and management protocols. Introduce CSG resources for financial analysis and investment banking advisory services, as appropriate Build and maintain strong relationships with outside advisors, including ESOP trustees, TPAs, and legal counsel.
