Elite Construction, Inc is looking to hire experienced Millwright  Mechanic Helper-  to join our growing company for a job out of town. This is a travel job. Travel will begin immediately We are looking for individuals who are eager to strive to be successful and dependable. Project could turn into a full-time position.  You will have to travel to Valdosta, Georgia to be hired to this job.  Typically, 2 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently. Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in establishments. The candidate will have a heavy mechanical background and will be familiar with setting, leveling, and aligning pumps, and fans. Must have a working knowledge of machine repair, hydraulic systems, and be able to fabricate and build from prints. Must be able to pass a drug test. Driver's License is required. Out of town travel is involved. Includes daily per Diem, plus hotel room and lunch provided daily.  Key Responsibilities:  Installation & Assembly: Set up new industrial machinery, including conveyors, turbines, and generators, based on blueprints and technical drawings. Precision Alignment: Use specialized tools like laser trackers, dial indicators, and micrometers to align and level machinery to precise tolerances. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Rigging & Moving: Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts to move, position, or dismantle heavy equipment safely.  Machining tools (lathes, grinders) to fabricate or repair machine parts on-site.
