As we continue to grow and undertake new projects, we seek a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our team. This full-time position is based at our production facility and requires the manager to be onsite as this is not a remote job opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all facets of our internal steel fabrication projects, ensuring each project is executed flawlessly from the initial award through to delivery. This role is crucial in maintaining our standards of quality and safety while meeting or exceeding time and budget constraints. Position Summary The Steel Fabrication Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of internal steel fabrication projects from award through delivery. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality and safety standards—without field installation responsibilities. The role focuses on managing shop production workflows, materials, approvals, change orders, and client communication related to fabrication-only deliverables. Role and Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on fabrication scope and schedule. Manage project timelines, milestones, shop release dates, and delivery schedules. Collaborate with drafting, estimating, procurement, and production teams to align resources and timelines. Coordinate fabrication release packages with detailing team and ensure drawing approval milestones are met. Work closely with the shop foreman and supervisor to schedule and prioritize work based on project deadlines. Monitor fabrication progress and resolve shop-floor issues in real-time.
