The core responsibilities of this role include: Act as a liaison between drivers, carriers, and Operations staff to ensure efficiencies; maintain accurate, up-to-date arrival and departure logs and shipping documents; create BOL’s (Bills of Lading) and verifying return BOL’s; update Excel, TMS and WMS; review trip sheets and code delivery manifests to prepare for billing. This is a new site start-up located in Byhalia, MS Position : Second (2nd) Shift Traffic Clerk Shift : 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime required based on business needs. Pay : $21.35 per hour plus $1.00 hour shift differential In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: – This is a hands-on role where up to 30% of shift will be out on the warehouse floor and requires walking, bending, standing during shift. -Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role such as Traffic Clerk, Transportation Clerk, Freight Coordinator. -Minimum of 1 years’ experience using Microsoft Office to include: Excel, Outlook and Word. -Maintaining high levels of customer service and timely oral and written communication to be a liaison between site operations, client representatives, drivers, and carriers to achieve and maintain high service levels. -Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc. Be part of the world’s largest logistics company!
