About this Role Winco, Inc. offers helicopter-assisted services for traditional electric maintenance and construction. Projects with limited access due to terrain or environmental concerns, as well as those on aggressive schedules, have benefited from Winco’s aerial capabilities. This position is designed for candidates who have recently completed an FAA-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) program and are eager to launch their careers in rotorcraft maintenance. As a Junior Field Mechanic, you will work alongside and under the direct supervision of a qualified, experienced A&P Mechanic for up to 1-year apprenticeship period, gaining hands-on field experience on MD369 D and FF helicopters. This is a structured, mentorship-driven opportunity to grow from the classroom into a full field role What You’ll Do Observe and assist a senior A&P Mechanic in performing routine and scheduled maintenance on MD369 D and FF helicopters. Shadow and support aircraft inspections, learning to utilize the appropriate checklist under direct guidance. Assist with time-life/overhaul life item changes, learning to tag items with date of removal and accurate times and cycles accumulated.
