Job Description

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the care, maintenance and repair of machinery, facilities and grounds. Essential Functions Comply with all company policies, cGMP, OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations and procedures Assemble complex production equipment according to blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions. installing and connecting various components such as motors, gears, conveyor belts, sensors, and control systems. Test assembled equipment to ensure proper operation and make any necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate records of all assembly work, including any deviations from plans or instructions. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility by completing a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks. Painting Drywall repair Fixing leaks Replacing light bulbs Repairing or replacing equipment as needed Expected to work independently, with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload effectively. Additional responsibilities as assigned Education & Experience Requires a High School education, or G.E.D. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field Core Competencies Have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Must be able to identify and resolve issues with equipment, often under tight deadlines and with limited resources.
