Job Description As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Driving Patrol in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout your shift while supporting employees and visitors with strong customer service, communication, and integrity in a caring, team-focused environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM – 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM – 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM – 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM – 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, boarding areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify permitted activity, and document security-related concerns according to post procedures.
