Tasks Job Description: National Medical Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Step Down Registered Nurse with a strong background in neurological care. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from ICU-level support, with a focus on neuro-related conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, seizures, and post-operative neurosurgical care. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients in a step down/telemetry setting Provide specialized care for patients with neurological conditions Interpret and respond to changes in patient status, including neuro assessments Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes Maintain accurate and timely documentation Requirements: Active RN license (state-specific or compact) Minimum 2 years of Step Down or Progressive Care experience Strong neuro experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Certification preferred Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Work Environment:
