Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. What You’ll Do Create graphical user interfaces that meet military standards (MIL-STD-1472), translating complex requirements into elegant, user-centered design solutions that are safe and effective Collaborate effectively with large software development teams, systems engineers, and stakeholders to improve designs and systems based on usability principles Interview subject matter experts and users; produce personas, workflows/journey maps, and other artifacts to inform design decisions Use interface prototyping tools to create low- to high-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes across all design phases Apply expertise in usability and interaction design principles across all aspects of visual and interface design Defend design decisions with co
