Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with student-specific needs (SSN) in the Colorado Springs, CO area for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Overview: Provide individualized 1:1 support for students with student-specific needs (SSN), including behavioral, academic, medical, and safety interventions. Implement behavior support plans and individualized accommodations to help students meet academic, social, and functional goals. Support students requiring specialized assistance, including mobility, feeding, toileting, and elopement-prevention services. Adapt instruction and learning activities to meet the unique needs of elementary students (Grades K-5). Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and paraprofessionals to ensure consistent, high-quality student support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field Valid Colorado CDE Initial or Professional Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist endorsement Experience supporting students with intensive behavioral, medical, or individualized academic needs in a school-based setting Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
