Soccer for Success Instructor Department: Center Staff Employment Type: Part Time Location: Association Office Reporting To: Kadeem McIntosh Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 / hour Description The YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Soccer League Coach to lead our youth soccer program. This role involves coaching and refereeing for children aged 3-8. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a solid understanding of soccer fundamentals. The coach will be responsible for both teaching soccer skills and facilitating games, creating an engaging and supportive environment for all participants. Shifts: Sundays: 9:15 am – 12:00 pm Session Dates: Fall Session: September 15th – November 10th . Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Instruct and coach children on soccer fundamentals, including skills and drills. Referee games, ensuring fair play and adherence to the rules. Session Structure: Begin each session with a brief lesson on drills, followed by facilitating gameplay among participants. Adapt to a schedule that may change based on enrollment. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
