POSITION TITLE: Teacher – English To Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for the 2026-2027 School Year LOCATION(S): Woodland MS START DATE: July 27, 2026 JOB DESCRIPTION: Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of ESOL curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold or be eligible for a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate in English To Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (P-12) or secondary content (4-8)/(6-12) with ESOL Endorsement. SKILLS: Ability and knowledge to effectively teach ESOL. EXPERIENCE: Previous teaching experience preferred, not required.
