Part-Time Landscape Drafter

Job Description

Description Use computer-aided drafting program to produce designs, working drawings, and records. Work alongside design team to measure potential client sites, taking note of measurements, ideas and possible plant material and use this information to complete landscape designs. Obtain and maintain knowledge of horticulture and all related practices to better provide advice and design creation. Confer with designer and other personnel in the selection of plants. Determine procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and quantity of required materials. Facilitate growth in client projects to enhance operating revenues and profits. Assist client specialist in the creation of cost proposals by providing accurate material and time expectations. Requirements Prior experience using computer-aided drafting software. Prior construction and/or drafting experience preferred. Knowledge of horticulture a PLUS, interest in horticulture is a must. Knowledge of Mac hardware and MacOS. Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Attention to details, high energy, and learning skills. Ability to work in an office and team-based environment.
